Uniform

All children are requested to wear the school uniform, a decision made in consultation with parents. Apart from the school tie, sweatshirts and jumpers most of the uniform can be bought at any supermarket or department store.  

QDOS, our school uniform supplier, is able to provide items with the school logo, including the jumper/cardigan, and girls’ summer dresses.

Parents should ensure that children adhere strictly to school uniform policy. NB. shoes, not trainers, should be worn in school. Please ensure hair accessories are of a dark colour with no large bows, only Alice bands or hair bands. Hair length and styles should be appropriate for the work environment of the school - long hair should be tied back. The wearing of make-up is not allowed. High heeled shoes are not considered suitable for school.

P.E.Kit

Round-neck, short-sleeved, House coloured T-shirt, navy blue shorts, black slip-on plimsolls/trainers.

Coats

Parents are requested to provide children with a top coat/anorak in keeping with the school uniform i.e.  preferably navy blue or similar plain dark colour (not multi-coloured jackets with logos.) All items of clothing should be clearly marked with the owner’s name.

PE Kit Ducklings Key Stage 1:

All PE Kits should be kept in a named drawstring PE bag (Ducklings children will wear their PE kit to school on PE days).

PE Kit for boys and girls must include:

• House Team coloured PE shirt
• Navy tracksuit bottoms (Plain round neck navy sweatshirt, if possible)– available from QDOS
• Navy shorts
• Trainers or plimsolls

Key Stage 2:

Jewellery:

No jewellery should be worn in school. Earrings: studs only permitted after piercing. During P.E. lessons studs should either be removed by the child or taped over.

Football/Netball Kit – Years 5 & 6

Suitable sports shirt/shorts or netball skirt/ sports socks/ football boots or sports trainers. (Boys and girls will play football/netball as well as other games). Tracksuits may be worn in cold weather.

Second Hand Uniform Shop

We are delighted to be able to offer our second hand uniform online through our very own uniform shop on the Uniformd marketplace.

Our second hand uniform shop allows families in our school community to access school uniform at any time. All funds raised go straight back into our school. Simply browse our shop for the uniform you need, make a purchase and you will receive your pickup information via email. The email will let you know when the item is ready to collect at the School Office. It's that simple!
