Design and Technology
Our Design and Technology aims at St Joseph’s are to promote an inspiring, rigorous and practical subject. We want our children to become independent, resourceful thinkers as individuals and part of a team. Using creativity and imagination, pupils design and make products that solve real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts, considering their own and others’ needs, wants and values.
Our intention is the children acquire a broad range of subject knowledge and draw on disciplines such as mathematics, science, engineering, computing and art. Design and Technology embeds our learning values.
We use Kapow to teach Design and Technology.
