At St Joseph’s, we celebrate children's achievements, both inside and outside of school, and we make sure that all children are congratulated when they live out our school mission statement:

‘We are All God’s children and will live, love, work and serve as Jesus taught us’.

CELEBRATION ASSEMBLIES

Every Friday, each class teacher chooses one Achiever from their class. These are children who have lived out the school mission statement by displaying one of our 8 values.  During our Friday Celebration Assembly, achievers are invited to share with the whole school why they have been chosen and what they have achieved. Each child receives a certificate and Friday hot chocolate or ice cream with the Headteacher.

WEEKLY NEWSLETTER

Children who have completed excellent work in class during the week are sent for a Headteacher's sticker and will be celebrated in our weekly newsletter which is an unapologetic celebration of our children's many achievements. Achivements outside school are also celebrated and shared with the community. It is lovely to see how keen our children are to share their successes.

GREEN CARD RAFFLE

Each week, children who receive a certain amount of green cards are entered into our green card raffle. Winners receive a prize from Mrs Holmes and Ms Kelross in the office.
